As the title states, we have begun. Not the most inventive of titles, I am happy to admit, but I suppose it is about being straight with people. The planning of the Novella has been a bit of a baptism of fire, mainly due to the fact that planning is a new concept to me. Most of my previous work has been of the ‘pantster’ style but I have noticed that my characters lack depth and dimension. I envisage them in my own mind but I have failed to translate that into words. A complete stranger would not get the image I wish to portray. To alleviate this somewhat annoying issue, I have written some character plots and given them to (Yes, you guessed it) some more or less complete strangers to get some feedback. I am ever hopeful that this will be a success but we shall see.
