I am always write!

As November approaches, as it inevitably does, my thoughts turn to NaNoWriMo.  I take part for a number of reasons, for the fun of it, the camaraderie, and the experience.  I also have another reason, and that is the inspiration that being involved in NaNo creates.  It almost forces you to write, to make your word count and to achieve your aims; and that is not a bad thing!  I often look down at the laptop or the pad and think; “what the heck do I put now?”,  and I am sure that I am not the only one with that ‘inspirational blank spot’.  Writing in November, with a 50,000 word goal in thirty days, seems to transcend that problem for me as I get my head down and do it.  I am sure it is not for everyone, but it works for me.  This November is going to be no different from the last one.  I will probably get a little stressed, wonder why I bothered, and write a lot!
