I am always write!

I do try to keep subjects diverse but strangely enough, the title subjects are more entwined than one may think. I have not added to this blog for quite some time, and the reason for this is that I have been writing more or less constantly for the last few months. Again, diverse literary subjects ranging from how to clean your air conditioning unit, to the virtues of a German built CNC metal cutting system. I do not expect you to understand, nor have any interest in these mind blowing subjects but to me, they are a meal ticket. A way of paying the bills. A look into the vast chest that holds the myriad of subjects, genres, methods and skills that make up the writer’s world.

You may note that I have not mentioned either blue cheese or ducks and there is a very good reason for this. They have nothing to do with my work. They are the reason that I do work. I love blue cheese, and I think ducks are great, but they are things that I enjoy outside my writing world and much of the reason I do what I do. I can go to the park when I choose because I freelance and can make an executive decision on my working hours. The blue cheese? I can afford to buy it because I have made those decisions. A simple and somewhat inane analogy of the system that we live within, I will grant you that, but it is how I justify my existence and justify the hard slog that now allows me to make those choices. It has taken a long time, but I finally know what things matter. Ducks and blue cheese are but two of them
