Hows it going then? Seems strange to start with a question, but in this case, the most obvious way to lead into a sales talk.

In fairness, I did not expect a huge amount of sales from Akresha as it is my first novel and my marketing skills are bluntly, rubbish, but I am pleased to announce that I have sold some books! I have two excellent reviews on Amazon, so up to now, it has been well received. In all, the process has been interesting and fun, though attempting to make head or tail of Amazon’s sales system is still dark magic to me, but I will get there eventually.

The next question I have (for myself) is what to bring forward to publish on the back of Akresha. I have two possibilities and a request to continue the Akresha saga. I always intended to write another book or two but wanted to see how the first was received, it has done well enough to justify a further book so I am considering how I want to build a storyline. With two other publications a distinct possibility, it does give me the time to write it.

In general, I am happy with the way the book release went, enough so to be looking forward to doing a few more.
